Editing The clean version of the song

Due to the lack of clean version of the song that I have chosen, I had to create one with using a basic audio editing program called Audacity.

In able to remove single swear words, i have used the "fade in and "fade out" option on the selected areas which allowed me to remove the sound from it without merging the sound waves together, therefore causing a damage on the rhythm of the music. I have done this on one particular selected area 4-6x in able to get the clears and the best possible outcome.

Due to the problem that the song had a stereo layout,which means the tracks have been layered on top of each other I had to use a different method when they had a so called Double within a certain part of the song. Therefore i ran a noise profile after a merged the stereo track together to a mono track, then I have used the Wah-wah effect on selected areas to decrease the volume of explicit words. At last I have done a noise reduction on the selected area and blended it in to the rest of the track.

Story Board

Here I am going to explain the story of my music video clip that i am creating for the song Wiz Khalifa -So High. The lyrics its self of the song is related to marijuana consumption on a high extent, which i am going to demonstrate by attaching the lyrics to this page. However the way I am going to use the phrase "so high" it will relate to the persona of the music video clip as high in status, who has got a lot of money, busy days, have a lot of fun.

Action : Smoke is floating in the air, while "Wiz Khalifa -so high" fades in.

Shot: Medium -close up

Lighting: High Key, Soft

Action: lighting a zippo lighter creating  the diegetic sound effect matching the video. Black background

Shot: POV, close up shot

Lighting: Natural, soft

Action: Smoke is being inhaled, while we can hear the diegetic sound matching the actions.
The action takes place within studio conditions.

Shot: Close up shot from the side

Lighting: Combination of low key harsh and low key bounced light from 45 degrees on each side.

Action: Presentation of the first location where the character wakes up after a rough night out. We can see clothes, alcohol, and different props on the floor.

Shot: Establishing shot, with a panning movement from a higher angle to present the location

Lighting: Natural low key lighting

Action: Character wake up, looking confused and sleepy, starting his day. The condition of the hair and face is natural, in able to present a realistic way of a person waking up.

Shot: Medium/long shot pointing at the character

Lighting: Natural soft lighting.

Action: Character goes out and plays basketball. This is because of the relation of hip-hop culture to basketball, and for personal entertainment.

Shots: a selection of shots ranging from close ups, medium shots, long shots, and tracking shots, and panning.

Action: Making a step forward or backwards, to show of the chuck tailor shoes, due to its important relation to Wiz's upbringing and his record label.

Action: Character blowing out smoke within a studio environment. Creating entertaining environment to the audience, which is the part of the narrative and performance based music video.

Action: Character arrives home. The place settings are similar to what it was at the very beginning of the video clip.
